YIN Dongnian

Professor of Shanghai Maritime University,
Senior legal advisor to the Ministry of Communications of the PRC,
Senior Consultant to the Supreme Court of PRC and the Shanghai High Court.

Professor YIN is widely accepted as an influential expert in maritime law. He has long been engaged in academic research and lectures on maritime law, especially bills of lading and charterparties. He is one of the key draftsmen of many legal instruments including the Chinese Maritime Code, PRC Regulations on International Maritime Transportation, Port Law and many other state legislations. 

Professor YIN was admitted to National Bar in 1982 and specializes in many aspects of maritime law including carriage of goods, bill of lading, charterparties, domestic waterway transport rules and so on.
